Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of net assets in equity securities of issuers located in emerging market countries, including frontier markets, which the fund considers a subset of emerging markets and counts toward its 80% investment policy. These countries typically are in Asia-Pacific (including Hong Kong), Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central and South America, and Africa. It may invest across market capitalizations, primarily in common stock, and may also use depositary receipts; its investable universe typically includes companies in the MSCI Emerging Market Equity Index. It may at times have significant exposure to countries such as China, including via variable interest entities. It uses a core style and a multi-factor, proprietary quantitative scoring model, subject to sector and security weight limits.
