Fund Description

The fund was incepted in June 1998 and is managed by SunAmerica. The fund seeks total return (including capital appreciation and current income). The fund strategy is based on a "buy and hold strategy." This means that in the Focused Dividend Strategy Portfolio over the course of the year the stocks do not change, even if there are adverse developments concerning a particular stock, an industry, the economy or the stock market generally. However, due to changes in the market value of the stocks held by the Focused Dividend Strategy Portfolio, it is likely that the weighting of the stocks in its portfolio do fluctuate throughout the course of the year. Dividends, if any, are distributed quarterly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
