Fund Description

The fund seeks capital appreciation and current income by primarily investing in domestic stocks and, to a lesser extent, debt and foreign equity instruments, including ADRs, GDRs and EDRs, and the fund's investments in foreign equity instruments can be denominated in any applicable foreign currency. Normally, at least 80% of net assets (plus borrowings) are invested in dividend-paying equity securities where dividends are expected to increase over time, including common stock, preferred stock, convertible securities and REITs. It may also invest in warrants, corporate bonds, repurchase agreements and derivatives, including written covered call and put options on equity or debt securities. The approach is value-oriented and non-diversified.
