Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in income-producing equity securities, including common and preferred stocks and other preferred securities, convertible securities, rights and warrants, and other securities with equity-like characteristics such as hybrid securities and trust preferred securities. Income-producing equity securities are those that pay, or are expected to pay within the next three months, dividends or interest. Derivatives providing exposure to these investments or related market risk factors are included in the 80% policy. It may also invest in other equity and debt securities, including lower-quality high yield debt. The fund invests in domestic and foreign issuers, uses fundamental analysis, and may use covered call options.
