Fund Description

The fund primarily invests in a mix of Fidelity U.S. equity funds, international equity funds, bond funds, and short-term funds, following a neutral asset allocation strategy that adjusts over time toward the allocation of the Fidelity Freedom Income Fund, targeting approximately 10 to 19 years post-2030. The Adviser may periodically modify asset allocations in the interest of shareholders, utilizing futures contracts to manage cash flows and maintain investment levels. The active asset allocation strategy allows adjustments of up to 10% in equity, bond, and short-term fund exposures based on market outlook. Additionally, the Adviser may allocate 0% to 10% to various asset classes, while maintaining an aggregate limit of 25%. It is designed for investors nearing retirement around 2030.
