Fund Description

The fund primarily invests in a mix of Fidelity U.S. equity funds, international equity funds, bond funds, and short-term funds, following a neutral asset allocation strategy that adjusts over time. This strategy aims to gradually align with the allocation of the Fidelity Freedom Income Fund, approximately 10 to 19 years after 2025. The Adviser may modify the neutral asset allocations and employs an active asset allocation approach, managing exposures across various asset classes based on market outlook. The fund targets investors planning to retire in or near 2025, with an emphasis on achieving high total returns beyond the target retirement date. Additionally, it may invest in other asset classes, including commodities and emerging markets debt, within defined limits.
