Fund Description

The fund was incepted in February 1993 and is managed by Fidelity Group. The objective of this fund is to seek income and capital growth consistently with reasonable risk. This fund invests in equity and debt securities, including lower-quality debt securities, issued anywhere in the world. When allocating investments among countries and regions, the management considers the size of the market in each country and region relative to the size of the world market as a whole. The fund invests at least 25% of total assets in fixed-income senior securities including debt securities and preferred stock. The fund offers dividends and capital gains annually in December.
