Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets in securities of Japanese issuers and other investments economically tied to Japan, focusing on smaller market capitalizations similar to companies in the Russell/Nomura Mid-Small Cap Index or the JASDAQ Index. The adviser may assess an issuer's country ties using factors such as third-party classifications, domicile, asset location, revenue and asset thresholds, government guarantees, and primary trading market or exchange. It normally invests primarily in common stocks and may also invest in larger-cap Japanese issuers, using fundamental analysis of financial condition, industry position, and market and economic conditions.
