Fund Description

The fund was incepted in October 1991 and is managed by Franklin Advisers. The fund was formerly called Franklin California Growth Fund. The objective of this fund is to seek capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of net assets in equity securities of companies headquartered or conducting the majority of their business in the state of California. The fund has the flexibility to invest in companies located, headquartered, or operating in other states and outside the United States. The fund offers dividends and capital gains annually. There is no guarantee that fund would regularly pay either income dividends or capital gains distributions.
