Fund Description

The fund invests substantially in equity securities of companies that are leaders in their industries. Security selection considers factors such as historical and potential growth in revenues and earnings, management strength and quality, and a company's strategic positioning. It normally invests primarily in common stocks of U.S.-based large- and medium-cap companies, may invest in new and emerging industries where growth is expected to be above average, and may invest up to 25% of assets in smaller companies. The manager uses a research-driven, fundamental, bottom-up, generally buy-and-hold growth approach and may at times hold significant positions in sectors such as information technology, industrials, and health care.
