Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in common stocks of companies with medium market capitalizations, generally defined as similar to those in the Russell Midcap Index or the S&P MidCap 400 Index. Its 80% policy includes common stocks and depositary receipts, as well as derivative instruments that provide exposure to these investments or related market risk factors, consistent with its policies and limitations. It may also invest in companies with smaller or larger market capitalizations, in domestic and foreign issuers, and in growth and/or value stocks, using fundamental analysis of issuers and market and economic conditions.
