Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets in common stocks of large-capitalization companies included in the Fidelity U.S. Large Cap Index, a float-adjusted market capitalization-weighted index designed to reflect the performance of U.S. large-cap stocks and a subset of the Fidelity U.S. Total Investable Market Index representing the largest companies. Large-cap stocks are considered to be those of the largest 500 U.S. companies based on float-adjusted market capitalization. It uses statistical sampling based on factors such as capitalization, industry exposures, dividend yield, price-to-earnings and price-to-book ratios, and earnings growth to attempt to replicate index returns. It may lend securities to earn income.
