Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of net assets plus any investment borrowings in income-producing common stocks of publicly traded real estate companies that derive at least 50% of revenues or profits from real estate activities or have at least 50% of assets invested in real estate. A majority of total assets is invested in REITs, emphasizing equity REITs while also investing in mortgage and hybrid REITs. Holdings may be any market cap, including small and mid caps. The fund may invest up to 15% of total assets in non-dollar denominated equity securities of non-U.S. issuers; up to 25% of assets, collectively, in non-dollar denominated equity securities of non-U.S. issuers and in dollar-denominated equity securities of non-U.S. issuers that are listed on a U.S. stock exchange or represented by depositary receipts; and up to 15% of total assets in equity securities of emerging market issuers. It may use derivatives for risk management, return enhancement, or currency hedging.
