Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in securities of companies principally engaged in gold-related activities and in gold bullion or coins, including instruments whose value is linked to the price of gold. It invests primarily in common stocks and certain precious metals, focusing on companies involved in exploration, mining, processing, or dealing in gold and, to a lesser degree, silver, platinum, diamonds, or other precious metals and minerals. It may invest up to 25% of assets in gold and other precious metals through a wholly-owned Cayman Islands subsidiary, and may invest in domestic and foreign issuers, using fundamental analysis to select holdings.
