Fund Description

The fund invests primarily in common stocks, normally allocating at least 80% of assets to securities of companies with small market capitalizations. The adviser generally defines small-cap companies as those with market capitalizations similar to companies in the Russell 2000 Index or the S&P SmallCap 600 Index. Derivative instruments that provide exposure to these investments or to related market risk factors are included in the 80% policy, consistent with the fund's policies and limitations. The fund may invest in domestic and foreign issuers and may hold growth stocks, value stocks, or both, selecting investments through fundamental analysis of issuers and broader market and economic conditions.
