Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in common stocks of companies with small market capitalizations, generally defined as those with market capitalizations similar to companies in the Russell 2000 Index or the S&P SmallCap 600 Index. Common stocks, including depositary receipts evidencing ownership of common stock, represent an ownership interest in an issuer. Derivatives that provide exposure to these investments or related market risk factors are included in the 80% policy, consistent with the fund's policies and limitations. It may invest in domestic and foreign issuers and in growth stocks, value stocks, or both, using fundamental analysis of issuers and market and economic conditions.
