Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in securities of companies principally engaged in medical equipment and devices and related technologies, enabling drug discovery, or providing information technology services primarily to health care providers. Eligible companies may include manufacturers of health care equipment and supplies such as drug delivery systems and eye care products, firms serving the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, and providers of software, data processing, and IT consulting tools for doctors, hospitals, and health care businesses. The 80% policy may include derivatives providing related exposure. The fund invests primarily in common stocks of domestic and foreign issuers, selected through fundamental analysis of financial condition, industry position, and market and economic conditions.
