Fund Description

The fund was incepted in May 2000 and is managed by Franklin Advisers. The objective of this fund is long-term capital growth. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities of companies with market capitalizations less than $1.5 billion. The fund follows a practice of selectively selling investment positions so as to maintain a median market capitalization for its portfolio of approximately $1.5 billion or lower. The fund offers dividends and capital gains annually but there is no guarantee that it would be paid.
