Fund Description

The fund invests, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes in a diversified portfolio of equity investments in mid-cap issuers, and may also invest outside the then-existing mid-cap capitalization range. It invests primarily in publicly traded U.S. securities, including REITs, but may also invest in foreign securities, including emerging countries and securities quoted in foreign currencies. Its process uses multiple industry-specific valuation metrics, in-depth company research, and sector portfolio manager recommendations with team input. It may sell for valuation/price, outlook changes, management assessment, better ideas, risk management, or redemptions. It may also invest in fixed income securities such as government, corporate, and bank debt, and measures performance against the Russell Midcap Value Index.
