Fund Description

The fund, under normal circumstances, invests at least 80% of net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes (measured at purchase) in a diversified portfolio of equity investments in mid-cap issuers, and may also invest outside the then-existing mid-cap capitalization range. It invests primarily in publicly traded U.S. securities, but may invest up to 25% of total assets in foreign securities, including emerging countries and securities quoted in foreign currencies, and may invest in privately held companies and companies that only recently began to trade publicly. Its fundamental equity growth process evaluates business quality and sustainable growth characteristics, considers valuation, and may integrate ESG factors; no one factor is determinative. The Investment Adviser measures the fund's performance against the Russell Midcap Growth Index.
