Fund Description

The fund was incepted in January 1998 and is managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management. The objective of the fund is to seek long-term capital appreciation and current income. Under normal conditions, approximately 60% of the portfolio's total assets are allocated among underlying equity funds, which provide the capital appreciation component. Allocation to underlying fixed-income funds provides the income component. The investment adviser invests a relatively significant percentage of its equity allocation in the CORE Large Cap Growth, CORE Large Cap Value and CORE International Equity Funds and invests a relatively significant percentage of its assets in the Core Fixed Income and Global Income Funds. Dividends are distributed quarterly. Capital gains are distributed annually.
