Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of its Net Assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes in a diversified portfolio of equity investments in large-cap U.S. issuers, and may also invest in securities below the then-existing large-cap issuer capitalization threshold at the time of investment. It invests primarily in publicly traded U.S. securities but may invest in foreign securities, including issuers in countries with emerging markets or economies and securities quoted in foreign currencies. It targets value opportunities using multiple valuation metrics, in-depth research, and sector portfolio manager recommendations. It may sell holdings for valuation, outlook, management, better ideas, risk management, or redemptions, and may invest in fixed income securities. The Investment Adviser measures the fund's performance against the Russell 1000 Value Index.
