Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in equity securities of U.S. small-cap companies, generally those with market capitalizations similar to companies in the Russell 2000 Index at the time of investment. It may also invest in foreign securities and securities of larger companies. Equity securities include, but are not limited to, common stock, preferred stock and depositary receipts. The fund may invest across all sectors and may at times hold a significant amount in a single sector. It may hold U.S. dollar- and foreign-currency-denominated securities and typically has full currency exposure in markets where it invests. The adviser uses fundamental research and a team-based peer review process to select quality companies, considering material ESG factors among other criteria.
