Fund Description

The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing in domestic equity securities of any market capitalization, investment companies (mutual funds, closed-end funds and ETFs, including those that use leverage), and cash and cash equivalents, and by using put and call options. The adviser uses a proprietary quantitative model, the HCM-BuyLine, to assess equity market trends and tactically adjust exposure, increasing equities when trends are up and reducing them when trends are down. When out of the market, it may hold cash and/or use put options to hedge and reduce volatility; when in the market, it may hold equities and/or call options. Allocations may range from 0-100% equities and 0-100% cash/options, with sector selection driven by the model and a heavily growth-oriented approach.
