Fund Description
The fund was incepted in December 1997 and is managed by Hartford Investment Financial Service. The fund seeks long-term growth of capital by investing primarily in stocks selected on the basis of potential for capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets in common stocks of companies with market capitalizations within the range represented by the Standard & Poor's MidCap 400 Index. The fund may invest up to 20% of its total assets in securities of foreign issuers and non-dollar securities. The fund offers dividends and capital gains annually.
