Fund Description

The fund seeks its objective by investing primarily in common stocks of small-capitalization companies that its sub-adviser, Wellington Management Company LLP, believes have superior growth potential, and under normal circumstances invests at least 80% of its assets in such stocks. Wellington Management uses fundamental research to identify issuers with improving quality metrics, business momentum and attractive relative valuations, supported by a proprietary screening tool. Depending on market or economic conditions, the fund may concentrate in one or more sectors through bottom-up stock selection. It defines small-cap companies as those within the collective market-cap range of the Russell 2000 and S&P SmallCap 600 Indices.
