Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in equity securities of mid-cap companies, including common stocks and debt and preferred securities convertible to common stock. Assets are net assets plus borrowings for investment purposes. It primarily targets common stocks of mid-cap companies the adviser believes can achieve sustained growth, generally with market capitalizations similar to those in the Russell Midcap Growth Index at the time of purchase. Derivatives may be used as substitutes for securities, primarily futures to gain targeted equity exposure from cash positions. The adviser combines research, valuation and stock selection, and considers ESG factors as part of issuer analysis and engagement. Securities may be sold due to changing fundamentals, valuation, or better opportunities elsewhere.
