Fund Description

The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in companies that Wellington Management believes are globally competitive and exhibit the potential for growth, including firms with visible and imminent inflection points that can result in earnings growth and margin expansion. Under normal circumstances, it invests at least 65% of net assets in equity securities, including non-dollar securities, of foreign issuers. It diversifies across sectors and countries worldwide with no sector or country limits, with allocations primarily driven by security selection. It may invest in emerging markets up to specified limits and across market caps, but tends to focus on companies with market capitalizations greater than $3 billion. The portfolio is typically focused with relatively few holdings.
