Fund Description

The fund, through its sub-adviser, seeks long-term capital growth by investing primarily in established and emerging companies with capitalizations at the time of purchase within the range of companies included in the Russell 1000 Growth Index, typically holding a relatively small number of positions. It may invest up to 25% of net assets in foreign issuers, including emerging or developing markets, via ADRs, GDRs, ADSs, GDSs, local shares, and foreign U.S. dollar-denominated securities. Holdings may be U.S. dollar or non-U.S. dollar denominated; the fund may, but is not required to, utilize foreign currency forward exchange contracts and may, but is not required to, purchase and sell certain derivative instruments, such as options, for various portfolio management purposes. Equity investments may include common and preferred stocks, convertibles, equity-linked securities, rights and warrants, depositary receipts, ETFs, and other equity-featured securities. The sub-adviser uses bottom-up stock selection and considers ESG factors as additional research, though not determinative.
