Fund Description

The fund was incepted in December 1994 and is managed by AEGON/Transamerica fund Advisers, Inc. The fund seeks long-term capital growth and current income. The fund invests up to 75% of its assets in equity securities selected primarily for their growth potential, and at least 25% of its assets in securities that the fund manager believes have income potential. The fund may invest less than 35% of its net assets in high-yield/high-risk bonds (commonly known as ??junk bonds??). The fund distributes dividends and capital gains annually.
