Fund Description

The fund invests, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of net assets in equity securities of companies worldwide that own, explore, or develop natural resources and other basic commodities, or that supply related goods and services. Coverage includes energy and alternative energy, industrial and forest products, base and precious metals and minerals, and agricultural products, and may include companies developing products and services to enhance energy efficiency. Using top-down industry analysis and bottom-up issuer research, it holds a blend of value and growth across market caps, typically 30-60 stocks, with significant exposure to energy and materials. It seeks international diversification, may invest up to 100% in foreign securities, may use forward currency contracts, and can have emerging markets exposure. An affiliate may execute trades and provide quantitative support.
