Fund Description

The fund was incepted in July 1996 and is managed by Hartford Investment Financial Services. The fund seeks maximum long-term total return. The fund favors stocks issued by high-quality companies. The key characteristics of high-quality companies include a leadership position within an industry, a strong balance sheet, a high return on equity, sustainable or increasing dividends, a strong management team and a globally competitive position. The fund may invest up to 20% of its total assets in securities of foreign issuers and non-dollar securities. The fund declares and pays dividends quarterly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
