Fund Description

The fund was incepted in April 2001 and is managed by AEGON/Transamerica fund Advisers, Inc. The fund seeks maximize total return. The fund invests principally in domestic equities and money market instruments. The fund generally invests in small and mid cap equities with valuation characteristics including low price/earnings, price/book, and price/cash flow ratios. The fund may invest primarily in publicly traded U.S. securities, it may invest up to 10% of its total assets in foreign securities, including securities of issuers in emerging countries and securities quoted in foreign currencies. The fund distributes dividends and capital gains annually.
