Fund Description

The fund primarily invests in equity securities and, under normal market conditions, invests at least 80% of its net assets (including borrowings for investment purposes) in common and preferred stocks of large-capitalization companies within the market capitalization range of companies in the Russell 1000 Value Index at the time of purchase. It typically invests in dividend-paying common and preferred stocks of value companies and may invest up to 25% of net assets in foreign investments. The fund may at times emphasize one or more sectors, including financials. The manager uses fundamental analysis with risk management analysis to identify opportunities and build the portfolio.
