Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of net assets in equity securities, primarily common stock, of companies from or economically linked to emerging market countries. Emerging market countries include, but are not limited to, those considered to be developing by the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation or one of the leading global investment banks, and the Manager has discretion to identify other countries it considers to qualify as emerging market countries. It may invest in any size or industry, up to 100% in foreign securities, including depositary receipts, and may access certain Chinese A-Shares via connect programs. The fund may invest up to 20% of its net assets in companies not tied to emerging markets for specified portfolio reasons. Security selection uses a systematic bottom-up process emphasizing earnings and price trends, business quality, and reasonable valuations. An affiliate may act as sub-advisor, execute trades, and provide quantitative support.
