Fund Description
The fund was incepted in December 1998. The Janus Group manages this health fund. The objective of this fund is to seek long-term capital growth. This non-diversified fund focuses on foreign and US companies believed to be involved with advancements in the life sciences, which include the healthcare, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, cosmetic/personal care, and biotechnology industries. Dividends and capital gains are normally declared and distributed in December. Till recently the fund was closed to new investors. On December 31, 2002 the fund was re-opened to new investors.
