Fund Description
Incepted in May 1998, this fund is managed by Janus Group. The objective of this fund is to seek maximum total return, consistent with preservation of capital. The fund invests in common stocks. It may invest up to 75% of its assets in equity securities selected primarily for their growth potential, and at least 25% of its assets in securities the portfolio manager believes have income potential. Equity securities may make up part of this income component if they currently pay dividends or the portfolio manager believes they have potential for increasing or commencing dividend payments. Due to this investment strategy, the fund is not designed for investors who need consistent income. The fund offers dividends on a quarterly basis in March, June, September and December. The fund offers capital gains in December.
