Fund Description
Incepted in February 2000, this fund is managed by the Janus Group. The objective of this fund is to seek long-term capital growth. This non-diversified fund invests primarily in common stock with the potential for long-term growth of capital using a 'value' approach. The portfolio manager emphasizes investments in companies he believes are undervalued relative to their intrinsic worth. The fund offers dividends and capital gains annually in December. This fund will be merged with Janus Special Situations Fund on February 28, 2003 and will be subsequently renamed to Janus Special Equity Fund.
