Fund Description

The fund is a fund-of-funds investing in affiliated underlying funds managed by Lord Abbett. Under normal conditions, through the underlying funds it indirectly invests in U.S. equities across all market caps and styles using a blend of growth and value, fixed income of various types, and select foreign (including emerging market) securities. Equity exposure can include common and preferred stocks, REITs and other trusts, partnerships, and similar vehicles. It tactically allocates among asset classes and may shift defensively. It may also invest directly in futures, forwards, options, and swaps, primarily for non-hedging purposes. The market value of the fund's directly held derivative positions (measured at the time of the most recent position established) will not exceed 50% of its net assets, excluding assets indirectly invested in derivatives through the underlying funds.
