Fund Description

The fund invests primarily in income-producing and income-growing equity securities that the adviser believes can appreciate in capital and seek total return. Holdings ordinarily are in mid- to large-cap domestic companies, though it may invest across all market capitalizations. The adviser primarily selects dividend-paying stocks with the prospect of raising dividends over time. To a lesser extent, it may invest in foreign issuers, REITs, and other investment companies. The fund actively trades, which may increase turnover, trading costs, and short-term gains or losses. It invests at least 80% of net assets (plus borrowings) in income-producing equity investments.
