Fund Description
The fund was incepted in November 1986 and is managed by Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. The fund seeks to provide shareholders with a high level of income exempt from federal income taxes. The fund tries to accomplish this goal by investing primarily in a diversified portfolio of municipal bonds. The fund pays dividends monthly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
