Fund Description

The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing at least 80% of net assets, including borrowings for investment purposes, in common and preferred stocks of companies located in Asia ex Japan, including developed, emerging, and frontier markets. An issuer is considered "located" based on substantial ties such as organization, revenues or assets, trading market, headquarters, or government affiliation. A security or instrument may be deemed an Asian security if, among other factors, its issuer is headquartered or organized in the region, it finances a project with significant assets or operations in the region, it is significantly secured or backed by regional assets, it is a component of or its issuer is included in the MSCI All Country Asia ex Japan Index, or it is denominated in an Asian currency and meets at least one other criterion. It may invest in depositary receipts and in affiliated or unaffiliated ETFs for cash equitization, and targets companies capable of sustainable growth using fundamental analysis. The fund may, from time to time, have a significant portion of its assets invested in one or more sectors, while it may invest in companies in any sector.
