Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of net assets, including borrowings for investment purposes, in the common and preferred stocks of companies located in Asia ex Japan that are considered innovators in their products, services, processes, business models, management, use of technology, or market approach; it may also invest in depositary receipts. An issuer may be considered "located" in a country or region if it has substantial ties to it, based on criteria such as where it is organized or headquartered, where revenues/assets are located, and where its securities primarily trade; the criteria allow latitude in making this determination. It targets sustainable growth characteristics, may invest across sectors and company sizes, may at times concentrate by sector, and may have high portfolio turnover. It has a fundamental policy to invest at least 25% of net assets in science- and technology-related industries, and may use ETFs for cash equitization.
