Fund Description

The fund was incepted in January 1997 and is managed by Affiliated Managers Group, Inc. The fund seeks high total investment return, consistent with preservation of capital and prudent investment risk. The fund invests 50-65% of its total assets in equity securities of medium and large-sized U.S. companies, and the remainder is invested in bonds and other fixed-income securities, as well as cash or cash equivalents. The fund distributes dividends quarterly and capital gains annually.
