Fund Description

The fund is an aggressive growth fund that generally invests in 25 to 45 companies that management believes have strong earnings and revenue growth and capital appreciation potential. Under normal circumstances, it seeks to invest at least 80% of its net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes in large-cap growth equity securities and derivatives providing exposure to such securities or related market risk factors. Large-cap growth holdings have market capitalizations within the Russell 1000 Growth Index range and are included in at least one BlackRock-determined growth index. It may invest in common and preferred stock, ADRs, up to 20% of its total assets in securities of foreign companies, and convertible securities.
