Fund Description
The fund was incepted in October 1998 and is managed by Merrill Lynch Investment Managers International Limited. The fund seeks long-term capital growth through investments, primarily, in a diversified portfolio of equity securities of companies located outside the United States. The fund purchases common stock, preferred stock, convertible securities and other instruments. The fund may invest in securities issued by companies of all sizes but focuses mainly on medium and large companies. Emphasis is placed on stocks of companies the fund management team believes are undervalued or have good prospects for earnings growth. Dividends are distributed semi-annually. Capital gains are distributed annually.
