Fund Description
T. Rowe Price Maryland Tax-Free Bond was incepted in March 1987 and is managed by the T.Rowe Price Associates. The objective of the fund is to provide, consistent with prudent portfolio management, the highest level of income exempt from federal and Maryland state and local income taxes by investing primarily in investment-grade Maryland municipal bonds. The fund invests at least 80% of net assets in investment-grade Maryland municipal bonds. The fund's weighted average maturity is expected to exceed 15 years. The fund declares dividends on the first business day of each month and capital gains in December.
