Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets, including any borrowings for investment purposes, in equity securities of issuers tied economically to emerging market countries. Emerging markets are determined based on factors indicating developing financial and capital markets, such as World Bank income classifications, IMF designations, or inclusion in an emerging market index, and may include countries in Latin America, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and developing parts of Europe. It may also invest outside emerging markets and in companies of any size, and can concentrate in a single issuer, sector, country, or region. The fund is managed with an active bottom-up approach emphasizing fundamental analysis, with quantitative screening tools also considered.
