Fund Description

The fund was incepted in December 1997 and is managed by MEMBERS Capital Advisors. The fund seeks high current income. The fund also seeks capital appreciation, but only when consistent with its primary goal. The fund invests primarily in lower-rated, higher-yielding income bearing securities, such as 'junk' bonds. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in bonds rated lower than investment grade and their unrated equivalents or other high-yielding securities. Up to 25% of its assets may be invested in the securities of issuers in any one industry, or up to 40% in each of the electric, utility and telephone industries. The fund may also invest up to 50% of its assets in high-yielding foreign securities, including emerging market securities. The fund offers dividends monthly and capital gains annually.
