Fund Description

Incepted in December 2002, the fund is managed by Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. The fund seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing primarily in common stocks and equity securities of smaller companies, which the managers believe offer potential for long-term growth. The fund may maintain cash reserves for liquidity and defensive purposes. Normally, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in the securities of companies whose market capitalizations, at the time of purchase, fall within the range of companies in the Russell 2000 Index or the S&P Small Cap 600 Index. The fund distributes dividends and capital gains annually.
